Verbier 3-d sculpture park and residency
The Verbier 3-D Sculpture Park is located between Les Ruinettes and La Chaux above the Swiss ski resort, Verbier. To access the Park take the gondola to the Ruinettes mid station and then the La Chaux Express gondola to the bottom of La Chaux. From there, take the path below the Dahu Restaurant to the right which will take you back to Les Ruinettes lift station. It is a gentle 3 kilometer walk.
The Verbier 3-D Sculpture Park Residency is an invitation-only residency lasting for 6 weeks from the end of May until the beginning of July. The international and Swiss artists selected for the residency will have contact with the local community in a social capacity to help form ideas and projects among artists, residents and tourists.
The artists invited for this year’s Artist Residency are currently interested in creating new work and dialogue around the advancement towards radical breaks within the traditions of monumental sculpture.
