1. Deposits and confirmation

On completion of your booking form and receipt of your 25% deposit (10% for Season or annual rentals), we will send you confirmation of your booking, showing the arrangements booked, the balance due and when it should be paid. The contract then exists between you and ActiveFUSION Group Sarl and this contract in all circumstances is governed by these booking conditions.

In the case of all catered and self catered bookings, you will also be asked to pay a security deposit to cover any additional costs incurred in resort and / or damage caused to the property. This will be authorised from a credit card 2 weeks prior to arrival and cancelled at the latest 1 month after your stay with us minus any costs incurred. Cancellation may be delayed if the costs of any repair has to be determined.

You will be liable for any breakages or damage to the property or adjacent properties during your stay caused by you or any member of your party, your employees or visitors to the property. These costs will be deducted from the deposit. If the damages are greater than that of the deposit, you will be responsible for these costs.

2. Balance payment

Full payment of the balance as shown on your confirmation invoice is due 12 weeks prior to your arrival. If the payment is not received at this point, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and levy cancellation charges as detailed below.

3. Payment methods

When due, deposit and balance payments can be made by: (a) Visa/Mastercard, or (b) direct bank (wire) transfer. Details will accompany your booking form. Visa, Mastercard are made through a secure portal (Paypal) and subject to a 3.5% surcharge within Switzerland and 4% outside Switzerland.

4. Alterations and cancellations by you

All alterations should be made in writing and where reasonable will come into effect on the day they are received. You hereby agree to indemnify ActiveFUSION Group Sarl for any reasonable expenses incurred in making an amendment. Should you wish to cancel your booking for whatever reason, this should also be made in writing and charges will be levied as follows:

- Prior to 12 weeks before your arrival any deposit shall be forfeited.

- Within the 12 week period, 100% of the booking shall be due and payable to ActiveFUSION Group Sarl unless we are able to resell the property in which case the difference will be refunded.

5. Alterations and cancellation by ActiveFUSION Group Sarl

In the unlikely event that any alteration is made by ActiveFUSION Group Sarl which is deemed to be significant (for example, a change of booking date), you have the right to cancel the holiday and receive a full refund of monies already paid. ActiveFUSION Group Sarl shall not be liable for any refund should we be forced to cancel or change your holiday due to circumstances amounting to Force Majeure. Such circumstances shall include, but are not limited to, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorism, industrial disruption, natural disasters, fire, technical problems, adverse weather, governmental action, government travel restrictions due to health reasons and similar events beyond our control.

6. Your responsibilities

You will indemnify ActiveFUSION Group Sarl for all losses and/or damage arising from any act or default on your part or the part of any member of your party. You will ensure that you have in your possession all necessary and valid travel documents. You accept that you ski and enjoy other winter sports at your own risk within the restrictions imposed by the resort or other authorities. We are not responsible for your actions and these restrictions.

7. Our responsibilities

We are responsible for any injury or death, damage or loss of property, if proven to be by our direct negligence but not for any other accident, injury or death, loss or damage that might occur.

8. Insurance

It is the condition of every booking that each member of your party is covered by personal holiday insurance, and that the policy covers you adequately for winter sports, third party risks and costs incurred from damage to property or adjacent properties during your stay caused by you or any member of your party, your employees or visitors to the property.

9. Skiing with ActiveFUSION Group Sarl or ActiveFUSION Group Sarl third party service provider

It is the responsibility of you and your group to judge the suitability of the terrain you ski. If you or any member of you party ski on terrain on the recommendation of or accompanied by a representative of ActiveFUSION Group Sarl or one of our third party service providers, we will not be liable for any injuries, howsoever caused.

10. Resort vehicles

The airport transfer service and any other transport offered in ActiveFUSION Group Sarl vehicles during your stay are accepted at your own risk.

11. Unaccompanied Children

We will not transport children under the age of 12 unless accompanied by an adult or guardian from the party. In addition, our staff will not be held responsible for any children left unattended within the ActiveFUSION Group Sarl properties.

12. Animals

No animals are allowed in the properties without prior written consent from ActiveFUSION Group Sarl. It should also be noted that in a number of our properties animals are prohibited altogether. An increased damage deposit and one off cleaning charge will be required as part of this consent. If during the stay, damage is caused by the animal we reserve the right to ban the animal from the property.

13. Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all properties marketed by ActiveFUSION Group Sarl. The management reserve the right to remove any group breaking this condition from the property without refund. In the event that smoking has occurred within the property an additional cleaning charge of CHF500 will be payable immediately.

14. Removal of ashes from the fire

Due to the inherent fire hazards it is forbidden for any ActiveFUSION Group Sarl guests to remove ashes from the fireplace in catered chalets. This task will be undertaken by chalet / apartment staff only.

15. Keys

On arrival at the property you will be issued with a number of keys for the property. If the same number of keys is not returned to the staff at the end of your stay a charge to replace these keys or to change the locks will be payable to ActiveFUSION Group Sarl. This may be deducted from the deposit.

16. Visitors

No additional persons other than those identified in the initial booking may reside at the property during the rental period without prior agreement of ActiveFUSION Group Sarl. If these additional guests are invited to eat or stay overnight, ActiveFUSION Group Sarl reserve the right to charge extra for the services provided.

17. Applicable law

These bookings conditions and any matters arising from them are subject to and governed by the laws of Switzerland and the cantonal regulations of Valais.

I have read and understood the Terms and Conditions as well as the information detailed in the Booking Form and Invoice and accept all points on behalf of myself, all members of my party, and any further members of my party I may subsequently include on this booking. I am over 18 years old. I confirm that all members of my party are insured as specified above.
